HANNIBAL, Mo. — The last day for the Central Park Farmers Market for this year will be Saturday, Oct. 28. Hours will be 7:30 a.m. to noon.

This is the second year that several of the vendors are eligible to take SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits for payment through a program with Douglass Community Services.

In the heart of Hannibal in the city’s oldest park, the market plays a vital role as a community gathering place that offers the best products from the area. The market offers consumers healthy, yet affordable, alternatives to the typical supermarket experience. About 35 vendors participate in the Farmers Market each week.

The Central Park Farmers Market will resume on April 24, 2024. More information about the market is available at hopefarms2@gmail.com or by calling 573-406-8401.
