CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College, founded in 1853 by members of the Disciples of Christ Church, will celebrate its covenant with the Canton Christian Church, 512 College, on Sunday, Feb. 18 in coordination with the church’s 10:45 a.m. service.

“The annual visit to the Canton Christian Church serves as a significant reminder of the college’s deep-rooted ties to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ),” C-SC President Lauren Schellenberger said in a press release. “This tradition reaffirms the college’s unwavering commitment to its heritage and longstanding partnership with the Christian Church.”

Culver-Stockton College welcomes 1980 graduate Jim Cullumber, the newly appointed director of development/advancement for Higher Education and Leadership Ministries, to deliver the message during the worship. The installation of Rev. Mandy Tarpening, a 1999 graduate, as campus chaplain will be part of the service.
