Culver-Stockton College welcomes Kirkham as director of development
CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College recently announced the appointment of Michelle Kirkham as its director of development.
A 2010 graduate of Culver-Stockton College with a degree in business administration, Kirkham earned a certificate in fundraising and development foundations from the University of California-Davis in 2023. She joins Culver-Stockton College after a successful tenure at Quincy University, where she helped with fundraising efforts. She coordinated all aspects of the QU Fund, leading to three consecutive years of record-breaking success in meeting and exceeding annual fund goals. She spearheaded faculty and staff giving, achieving a 98 percent participation rate for two years.
Kirkham helped plan and lead Giving Days, which boosted alumni participation and annual giving goals. Her grant writing and collaboration skills were instrumental in securing more than $4 million in funding.
“We are thrilled to welcome Michelle back to The Hill,” C-SC President Lauren Schellenberger said in a press release. “Her extensive experience in fundraising, coupled with her deep connection to our institution, make her an invaluable addition to our team.”
