Culver-Stockton College’s Kraus Lecturer to speak about global business on Monday
CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College’s Kraus Lecture featuring distinguished speaker and C-SC alum Matt Waldron will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18, in the Merrillat Recital Hall inside the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center.
This event is free and open to the public. Waldron will share his insights and experiences in the field of global business and product development.
Waldron is a distinguished product and brand development professional, earning his undergraduate degree in business from C-SC and an International MBA from the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business. With a career spanning various companies like Walmart, GameStop Inc., Colgate-Palmolive, Pelican and Logitech, Waldron brings expertise and experience to the stage. His international work experience in Latin America, Asia and Europe enhance his understanding of global business dynamics.
Waldron also is an accomplished journalist and writer, covering technology, beer/brewing and high-stakes poker for various publications and blogs. Now living in Miami, Waldron serves as vice consul for Trade and Investment with the UKTI, focusing on the technology and creative/media sectors in the southeastern United States.
The Kraus Lecture series was established by Joe W. Kraus in memory of his wife, Kathryn Elizabeth (Betsy) Curtright Kraus. Both were graduates of Culver-Stockton College.
