Endowed scholarship to help two high school seniors get healthcare degrees created at Hannibal Regional

HANNIBAL, Mo. — Hannibal Regional recently announced a new scholarship opportunity available for high school seniors. James and Doris Lierheimer recently gave a donation to endow two $750 scholarships to be offered yearly to two high school seniors planning on pursuing a degree in a healthcare field.
The Lierheimers were impressed and grateful for the care they received from Hannibal Regional’s healthcare team and wanted to find a way to show that appreciation. Their nurses encouraged them to reach out to Hannibal Regional Foundation to find a way to offer lasting support to the team and the community.
Applications are open until March 31. A scholarship committee will review all applications.
For more information about the scholarship, visit hannibalregional.org/about us or call the foundation at 573-629-3577.
