Ethan’s Rodeo 2024 to be held Aug. 9-10 at Flower City Park

Ethan's Rodeo 2024

PALMYRA, Mo. — David and Alicia Weiman have announced that Ethan’s Rodeo will be held Friday and Saturday, Aug. 9-10, at Flower City Park. Ethan’s Rodeo is named in memory of Ethan Weiman, a young cowboy who fought neuroblastoma – a childhood cancer responsible for 15% of all childhood cancer deaths – from 2007-2009. Ethan’s family and friends continue the fight by presenting Ethan’s Rodeo to fund ongoing research of this terrible disease.

Ethan’s Rodeo features award winning contestants and livestock, rodeo clown acts and pyrotechnics shows with each performance. As part of the Outlaw Rodeo 2023 tour, fans will enjoy bull riding, barrel racing, bucking horses, steer wrestling, and roping events. Ethan’s Rodeo is sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association and the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association.

Ethan’s Rodeo begins at 7:30 p.m. each night. On Friday, gates and concessions open at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, the gates and concessions open at 5 p.m. for a full complement of family activities including a petting zoo, pony rides, bounce house and much more.

Stealin’Copper will perform Saturday after the rodeo on the Refreshment Services Pepsi Music Stage.

Children are invited to participate in a stick bull ride/parade at 7 p.m. each night.

Concession vendors include The Butcher Block, Pepsi, Beer Garden, Show-Me Shaved Ice, and Popp’n on Maine.

Tickets for the event are available at www.ethansrodeo.com and at the gate.
