Hannibal Arts Council site of special exhibit and sale of works by Capt. Robert M. Lumpp through Feb. 23
HANNIBAL, Mo. — An upcoming art sale at the Hannibal Arts Council features 12 large-scale landscape paintings by Capt. Robert M. Lumpp (1931-2023). The works will be on display at the Hannibal Arts Council through Feb. 23.
The Hannibal Arts Council is pleased to present this special exhibit and sale of 12 landscape paintings by Lumpp. Proceeds benefit the Hannibal Arts Council. Each of the paintings are 2’ by 3’ large-scale acrylic originals in substantial frames.
Lumpp had a definitive style that characterized his paintings – trees, birds, bright and open skies. He became recognized for his special renderings of Old Glory, which can still be viewed at theflagpainter.com.
The Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main, has February gallery hours of noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The HAC gallery is closed on Saturday and Sunday in February. For more information on the current exhibit and other HAC programs, contact the Hannibal Arts Council at findit@hannibalarts.com, 573-221-6545 or at hannibalarts.com.
