Hannibal Job Center offering open house to showcase services for businesses, job seekers
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Missouri Job Center, 203 N. Sixth, will hold an open house for the business and job seeker communities from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19.
This event will showcase the services available to businesses and job seekers in the community. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
The open house is in coordination with Workforce Development Month, which is celebrated in September of each year.
Hosts of the open hours are the Workforce Development Board of North Missouri, the Missouri Office of Workforce Development and Gamm Incorporated. Attendees can meet with representatives from these organizations, learn about available resources and participate in guided tours of the Job Center’s facilities.
In a press release, Brent Stevens, executive director of the Workforce Development Board of North Missouri, said, “The open house is a fantastic opportunity for the community to see firsthand the valuable services we offer. Our partnerships enable us to provide a wide range of resources. If you have never been, or it has been a while since you have visited the Job Center, this is a great opportunity to see what services are available.”
