HANNIBAL, Mo. — Hannibal Regional Auxiliary supported Hannibal Regional Healthcare System through several sales and special events. At its December board meeting, the auxiliary presented a check for $115,350 to Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. The funds will go toward fulfilling the auxiliary’s pledge to the Building Better Tomorrows campaign.
With more than 240 volunteers, Hannibal Regional Auxiliary gives many hours of service to Hannibal Regional. Service is the heart of the auxiliary and its main purpose. Hannibal Regional Auxiliary has been sharing their time and energy for years. This past year’s auxiliary theme was, “Doing good does you good.”
In a press release, Hannibal Regional Auxiliary President Brenda Newell said, “Volunteering has a way of making a person feel so useful and needed, but it also makes a person feel so good about meeting new people, helping people, and in the process, helping ourselves.”
Hannibal Regional Auxiliary is always looking for new volunteers. There are several areas within the Hannibal Regional Healthcare System where you could volunteer your time, including activities with patients, Judy’s Boutique gift shop, the Caring Cup and many more.
