HANNIBAL, Mo. — Hannibal Regional is offering a health accountability support group that offers a foundation to help implement and maintain long-term healthy lifestyle choices. Topic areas to be discussed will include fitness, nutrition and mental health.

In a press release, registered dietitian Kristy Taylor said, “Many people share that the maintenance phase of healthy habits is the hardest for them. This group offers the environment of people with similar interests to gather and support each other’s health journey. With personal commitment and under the accountability of healthcare professionals, this group is designed to support various parts of healthy living. Taking time out of your week to support your own health isn’t selfish. It’s self-care.”

The group meets from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays in the sunroom just inside Hannibal Regional Hospital. The group will meet in the Courtyard Café Conference Room on Feb. 1, Feb. 15, March 28, May 30, June 20, July 25, Sept. 26, Oct. 17 and Dec. 5.
