Hannibal Salvation Army Family Store to be host of Christmas celebration event Saturday

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Salvation Army Family Store’s Christmas celebration will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, within the Family Store at 200A Steamboat Bend Shopping Center (just south of County Market) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

The day’s events include treats, games, store specials, prizes and pictures with Santa from noon to 3 p.m.

In a press release, Family Store manager Tina Eifert said, “Christmas in America’s Hometown is always magical. We love adding our event to the list of Christmas activities available to the community and looking forward to seeing new faces each year.”

Donations to and purchases from the Salvation Army Family Store help provide funds to the social services department which serves Marion, Ralls, Lewis, Shelby and Monroe counties in Missouri. Call 573-248-8008 for additional information or to set up a time for a donations truck to pick up large items/donations.

The store has a convenient drop-off door at the south end of the store. Ring the bell, and a Salvation Army Family Store team member will come out to retrieve your donations.
