Hospice of Northeast Missouri to present free program addressing grief of aging on Wednesday

Hospice of Northeast Missouri

CANTON, Mo. — Carrol Davenport, Hospice of Northeast Missouri’s spiritual care and bereavement coordinator, and Barb Smith, Hospice volunteer, will present a free program at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 812.

Davenport and Smith will explore dealing with getting older and experiencing the reality of “life is NOT what I thought it would be when I got to this point.”

Many had plans for their later years but instead must deal with physical issues. Davenport and Smith talk through this new reality and what to do when life throws you a curve ball and you need to call on your internal resiliency.
