Commission awards contracts for bridge rehabilitation projects in northeast district

HANNIBAL, Mo. — During its regular meeting on March 8, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded two contracts for four bridge rehabilitation projects in the northeast district.

A $1,360,618 contract was awarded to Emery Sapp and Sons, Inc., for two bridge rehabilitation projects in Lewis County at the following locations:

  • Route P, over U.S. Route 61, near Canton.
  • Missouri Route 16, over U.S. Route 61, at Canton

A $816,999 contract was awarded to Widel, Inc. for two bridge rehabilitation projects on U.S. Route 61, over the Cuivre River, near Troy in Lincoln County.

Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
