Culver-Stockton College ranked in top 10 in Midwest for social mobility by U.S. News & World Report
CANTON, Mo. — U.S. News and World Report released its list of “2023 Best Colleges and Universities,” and Culver-Stockton College earned three rankings among Midwest colleges.
C-SC ranked No. 9 for social mobility in Midwest colleges, an increase of eight spots over last year’s ranking and 28 spots from the 2021 ranking.
“We are humbled to receive this recognition, especially the large movement in the social mobility category,” President Douglas B. Palmer said in a press release. “This recognition reflects our commitment to our mission to educate students of promise with an innovative focus on experiential learning centered on real-world issues and problem-solving.”
C-SC was ranked #26 for Best Midwest Regional College, an increase of eight spots from the 2022 rankings. The Midwest region represents colleges from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Additionally, C-SC ranked No. 20 for Best Value.
U.S. News and World Report have provided nearly 50 different numerical rankings of colleges and universities that reflect academic performance since 1983.
