Hospice of Northeast Missouri to present free program about grief of aging on Aug. 30 in Canton
CANTON, Mo. — Join Carrol Davenport, Hospice of Northeast Missouri’s spiritual care and bereavement coordinator, and hospice volunteer Barb Smith as they explore dealing with getting older and experiencing the reality of “life is NOT what I thought it would be when I got to this point.”
This free program takes place from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 812 Lewis in Canton.
Many people have plans for there later years, but instead they deal with physical issues preventing them from doing the things they want to do. Davenport and Smith will talk through this new reality and what to do when life throws you a curve ball.
