Local ham radio clubs to hold ‘Hamfest’ Saturday at American Legion in Palmyra

PALMYRA, Mo. — The Hannibal Amateur Radio Club and Quincy Amateur Radio Club will hold Hamfest on Saturday, May 4, at the American Legion, 600 Short, in Palmyra from 8 a.m. to noon. Entry fee is $8, $5 for veterans and free for anybody with a student ID.

Hamfest is an amateur radio swap meet where individuals can buy, sell trade and browse. Testing for the FCC Amateur Radio license will be available. Refreshments will be available and prizes awarded.

Vendor space is available. Cost is $10 per table for the first two tables and $5 for each additional table.
