Marion Co. Sheriff’s Office responds to domestic disturbance

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance call involving a gunshot victim near the intersection of Marion County Road 437 and US Highway MM Tuesday morning.

According to the report, neither subject involved in the incident suffered from a gunshot wound and there were no firearms involved at the call that came in just before 10 a.m. Tuesday. This was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.

The matter is under further investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
