Cuddle Cat Rescue grand re-opening on Saturday to include black cat special, yard sale

HANNIBAL, Mo. — Cuddle Cat Rescue invites community members to a grand re-opening event from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, June 24.

The event will feature a $25 black cat special and yard sale in the back warehouse. Kittens adopted from Cuddle Cat Rescue are fully vetted, spayed and neutered and available for adoption for $50. Refreshments will be available at the event. All proceeds will stay with the rescue.

Cuddle Cat Rescue has 15 adult cats and 63 kittens. Of the 78 cats, 24 are in the building and 54 are in foster homes. All of the cats coming into Cuddle Cat Rescue receive a health examination and age appropriate vaccines, are tested for feline leukemia and treated for parasites, and are spayed/neutered before going to their new homes.

Founded in 2017, Cuddle Cat Rescue is a private 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding new homes for cats, including those that are victims of cruelty, abuse, injury and illness. The shelter keeps all cats until they find homes. Cuddle Cat Rescue does not euthanize for space. The longest stay for a cat at the rescue has been 394 days.
