HANNIBAL, Mo. — U.S. Rep. Sam Graves (MO-6) recently announced U.S. military service academy nominations for students in Missouri’s Sixth Congressional District. Grace Hiles, a student at Hannibal High School, is one of 13 northern Missouri students to be nominated. Hiles plans to attend the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

Members of Congress are tasked each year with selecting qualified students from their respective districts to attend one of America’s prestigious military academies.

In a press release, Graves said, “Once again, an incredible group of students stepped up with a desire to serve our country. These folks are already exhibiting leadership in their schools and communities. Undoubtedly, they will make northern Missouri proud at their service academies and in the future.”
