HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Early Birds Kiwanis Club presented a check for $1,500 to the Hannibal Alliance for Youth Success on April 27 in support of its “Buddy Pack Program.”

This program provides food to students in the Hannibal Public School System.  More than 400 meals are handed out each Friday to youths who need food assistance over the weekend. The Early Bird Kiwanis Club has supported this program with money and services to help put these meals together for several years.

Present to receive the club’s contribution was Andrea Campbell (right) a member of the HAYS Sterring Committee and Cassie Smith, president-elect of the club.  The Club welcomes the opportunity to assist in this program which helps to make “Young Children – Priority One”.
