HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Early Bird Kiwanis Club recently presented Kurt Haner and two students with the Hannibal High School Finance Club with a check for $515 to reimburse the club for the use of a rental car while in Cleveland for the National Finance Challenge.

This year’s team came in first place for the seventh time in a row in the Missouri Financial Challenge and ranked first in the state for the Economic Challenge as well. They participated at the national level competition in Cleveland and visited the Federal Reserve building for a tour.

The club has supported this organization for at least the past 15 years.

People interested in supporting youth activities and in being a member of a service club are welcome to visit a club meeting every Thursday at 7 a.m. at the Hannibal Holiday Inn Express and Suites.
