New troopers assigned to Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop B

MACON, Mo. — Trooper Carter L. Munch and Trooper Jorden R. Billings have been assigned to Troop B with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Munch and Billings were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 115th recruit class that began training on July 5 and graduated from the patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy on Dec. 22. The new troopers from the 115th recruit class will report for duty on Jan. 9.

Munch has been assigned to Zone 3, Linn and Chariton counties. He is a native of Hannibal and graduated from Hannibal High School. After high school, Munch attended Harding University in Searcy, Ark., where he graduated with a bachelor of science in criminal justice and psychology.

Billings has been assigned to Zone 3, Linn and Chariton counties. He is a native of Bowling Green and graduated from Bowling Green High School. After high school, Billings attended Hannibal-LaGrange University, where he graduated with a bachelor of science in criminal justice.
