No injuries reported Wednesday morning in a minor crash involving a Hannibal school bus
HANNIBAL, Mo. — During the morning commute to school on Wednesday, a Hannibal school bus collided with a pick-up truck in a low-speed crash on Highway 61 near Warren Barrett Dr.
The Hannibal School District confirmed no injuries were reported in the crash, which happened after the bus hit a small patch of ice causing it to slide. The students riding the bus were picked up by another Hannibal bus and safely transported to school.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene of the crash, although it was considered a minor.
Andrea Campbell, communications director for the Hannibal Public School District, said EMS checks out all incidents involving school buses in the state of Missouri as a precautionary measure.
