Twain on Main outdoor festival planned for Memorial Day weekend in Hannibal
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Twain on Main outdoor festival is planned for Memorial Day weekend, May 27-28, by the Historic Hannibal Marketing Council.
It features arts and crafts, food and entertainment. Saturday hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. This western-themed festival is free to attend with only a small charge for some of the rides and activities. Western attire is encouraged but not required.
More than 100 artisans, crafters, authors and vendors will on site with a variety of food vendors in two food courts. Adults can enjoy locally-produced wines and specialty craft beers in the saloon, wine and beer garden.
Appearances by Mark Twain will continue throughout the weekend, along with the opportunity to visit the Professor Farquar petting zoo and Cowboy Children’s Area. Ned Behrensmeyer on the piano will be happening at Java Jive.
The Mark Twain Museum properties, along with Main Street stores, museums, attractions and specialty shops, will be open for business during Twain On Main. The party continues Saturday night with music and merriment at many downtown establishments.
All entertainment for the weekend will be on the main stage in the Bird and Main parking lot unless otherwise noted. The music schedule for the weekend is:
Saturday

- 11 a.m to 1 p.m. — Seth Wade
- 1-2 p.m. — Mark Twain and Saloon Show Guys
- 2 p.m. — Missouri Wild Bunch-Hill and Main
- 2-4 p.m. — Dusty James and Abalone Pearl
- 5-7 p.m. — Hoedown featuring Stone Hill
Sunday
- 10 a.m. — Missouri Wild Bunch, Hill and Main
- 11 a.m.-1 p.m. — Seth Wade
- 1-2 p.m. — Mark Twain and Saloon Show Guys
- 2-3 p.m. — Make Moore
- 2 p.m. — Missouri Wild Bunch Hill and Main
- 3-5 p.m. — Jenny Manzke
