Palmyra’s Flower City Park to be site of Ethan’s Rodeo Aug. 19-20

Ethan's Rodeo

PALMYRA, Mo. — Ethan’s Rodeo will be held Aug. 19-20 at Flower City Park in Palmyra.

Ethan’s Rodeo is named in memory of Ethan Weiman, a young cowboy who fought neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer responsible for 15% of all childhood cancer deaths, from 2007-09. Ethan’s family and friends continue the fight by presenting Ethan’s Rodeo to fund ongoing research of this terrible disease.

Ethan’s Rodeo features award-winning contestants and livestock, rodeo clown acts and pyrotechnics shows with each performance, which is part of the Outlaw Rodeo 2022 tour. Fans will enjoy bull riding, barrel racing, bucking horses, steer wrestling and roping events.

Ethan’s Rodeo is sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association and the Missouri Rodeo
Cowboy Association.

Ethan’s Rodeo will begin at 7:30 p.m. each night. On Friday, gates and concessions open at 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the gates and concessions open at 5 p.m. for a full complement of family activities
including a petting zoo, pony rides, bounce house and much more. The Stew Boys will perform Saturday after the rodeo on the Refreshment Services Pepsi Music Stage.

Other highlights include a stick horse parade at 7 p.m. each night for children 10 and under, and a
sheep chase during the rodeo.

Concession vendors include The Butcher Block, Pepsi, Bud Light, Tri State Sno Biz and Popp’n
on Maine.

Tickets are available on our website, www.ethansrodeo.com, and at the gate. For more information, visit www.ethansrodeo.com, Facebook (Ethan’s Rodeo), or email info@ethansrodeo.com.
