VFW Post 11040 monthly fish fry set for Friday in Palmyra

PALMYRA, Mo. — The monthly fish fry sponsored by VFW Post 11041 will be held Friday, Aug. 4. Serving hours are 4 to 7 p.m. for a menu of catfish fillets, VFW spuds, baked beans, cole slaw, cornbread, drink and dessert.
Cost for the meal is $12 for adults and $5 for children.
The legion hall is at 316 S. Main.
The next meeting of Post 11040 will be Tuesday, Aug. 6.
People interested in membership can stop by anytime from 8 to 10 a.m. daily for coffee and information about joining Post 11040.
