VFW Post 11041 selling tickets for raffle, drawing to be held July 7

PALMYRA, Mo. — Palmyra VFW Post 11041 is selling tickets for a raffle to be held in conjunction with a fish fry at the VFW hall on July 7.

First prize is a Henry Golden Boy .22 lever-action rifle. Second prize is a small cedar chest by Max Schaefer, and third prize is a framed art print titled “Spirit of the Land” by Derek Hansen.

Tickets are $10 apiece or three for $25. Tickets can be bought by contacting any VFW member or stopping by the VFW hall, 316 S. Main, from 9-9:30 a.m. Monday-Friday. The winner need not be present.
