Mark Twain Casino raises $1,050 for Blessing Hospital’s Breast Center through match campaign

LA GRANGE, Mo. — Mark Twain Casino recently announced the success of a fundraising campaign benefiting The Breast Center at Blessing Hospital that resulted in a total of $1,050 raised.

The fundraising initiative invited guests to participate in a match donation program, where every dollar donated in cash up to $100 was matched by the casino in free play.

In a press release, Ryan Lounsbury, general manager of Mark Twain Casino, said, “We are grateful for the overwhelming response from our patrons. Their generosity and willingness to support The Breast Center represents the spirit of compassion and unity that defines our community. We are thrilled to continue this promotion to benefit our local communities.”

The Blessing Breast Services Fund supports breast cancer patients in financial need. The fund helps pay for unmet needs such as medication, prosthetics, wigs, medical supplies, transportation and living expenses. The fund also ensures women who can’t afford mammograms will have access to them.
