Northeast Missouri Toys for Tots receives donation from Hannibal Early Bird Kiwanis Club

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Early Bird Kiwanis Club recently presented a check for $750 to Stacy Nicholas, regional coordinator for Marion, Lewis, Ralls, Pike, Monroe and Shelby counties, in support of the “Toys for Tots” program serving northeast Missouri in cooperation with Douglass Community Services. 

Nicholas informed the club this program will be providing toys and stocking stuffers for underprivileged children from birth to age 17 this holiday season. Approximately 1,200 to 1,300 children in the northeast Missouri area will be receiving gifts this year. 

To volunteer or to donate toys, contact Douglass Community Services at 573-221-3892. A check made payable to “Toys for Tots” can be mailed care of Douglass Community Services, 909 Broadway, Hannibal, Mo., 63401.
