PALMYRA, Mo. — Exciting news for literary enthusiasts and romance lovers alike. Regina Hastings, a passionate writer and dedicated member of the Palmyra community, has announced the upcoming release of her debut historical romance novel, Stolen Destiny, set to be available on Amazon starting Aug. 1. The Kindle version is available now for pre-order.

Hastings’ inspiration for her novel stems from a lifelong fascination with the Old West, where tales of strength, courage and resilience unfold against a backdrop of untamed wilderness.

In a press release, Hastings said, “I’ve always been drawn to the simplicity and moral clarity of that era, contrasting sharply with modern complexities.”

Her meticulous research has deepened her love for this period, making it the perfect setting for her storytelling.

From a young age, Gina’s father encouraged her writing talents, reminding her of their familial connection to famed author Samuel Clemens. Despite the demands of daily life, including raising four adult children, Hastings has rekindled her dream of becoming a published author after years of nurturing her creativity.

“I’m so excited to share Stolen Destiny with the world,” Haistings said. “I hope readers enjoy it as much as I loved writing it.”
