Palmyra license bureau temporarily closed; customers encouraged to visit Hannibal, New London, Monroe City
PALMYRA, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Revenue recently said in a press release that the license office in Palmyra, 100 S. Main, Suite 003, is temporarily closed. Customers are encouraged to visit a nearby location to receive assistance with motor vehicle and driver licensing needs:
- Hannibal License Office – 21 Northport Plaza
- New London License Office – 311 S Main
- Monroe City License Office – 109 Second

The following online services are available:
- License Plate Renewal — A convenient way to renew license plates. If your county participates by sharing personal property tax information with the department, you have an easy registration option. Check to see if your county participates.
- Renewal Requirements Inquiry — Online inquiry to obtain information regarding registration renewal requirements.

Citizens may also renew vehicle and watercraft registrations by phone at 573-751-1957 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
