Perry Carousel recognized by national organization

PERRY, Mo. – The National Carousel Association (NCA) recognized the efforts of those who worked on the restoration of the Perry Carousel.

About 70 members of the NCA (National Carousel Association) made the trip to Ralls County and presented the Perry Carousel Association with a plaque. People came from as far as Alaska, Canada, California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, West Virginia, Tennessee, Texas and Florida.

The NCA has an annual convention where they go to a different region of the U.S. to learn about and ride carousels and this year’s convention was in the Midwest.
