Ralls County Side by Side Ride raises more than $21,000 for Great River Honor flight
CENTER, Mo. — The seventh annual Ralls County Side by Side Ride presented the Great River Honor Flight with proceeds totaling $21,225 from its annual drive held on Oct. 5. The presentation was done as part of a thank-you party for the volunteers and sponsors of the ride.
Approximately 650 people participated, going on a cross-country ride through several Ralls County farms and back roads. Plans are already in the works for the 2025 edition of the ride in October.
Veterans who have previously participated in the Honor Flight program were in attendance at the presentation.
This event has donated more than $60,000 over the years to Great River Honor Flight’s mission to give local veterans a free trip to Washington, D.C.
