Route D in Ralls County scheduled to close Wednesday for bridge painting project

HANNIBAL, Mo. — Route D in Ralls County is scheduled to close Wednesday, March 26, from Missouri Route 19 to Route B south of Perry for the painting of a bridge over Lick Creek, 1.2 miles west of Missouri Route 19. All work on this bridge is expected to be completed by early April.
On April 1, crews will then move to begin painting on the bridge on Pike County Route D/FF over U.S. 61 near Eolia. Traffic impacts at the interchange will include temporary shoulder closures on Route D and U.S. Route 61 (northbound and southbound) will be reduced to one lane with an 11-foot width restriction until the project is complete.
Signs and message boards will be in place to alert motorists as schedule changes occur. All work is weather dependent. Schedules are subject to change.
Omega Coatings & Construction, LLC was awarded the contract earlier this month in the amount of $370,424.
