HANNIBAL, Mo. — Saints Avenue Buffet and Grill recently donated $500 to Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The money donated will help buy a lawn mower for the cemetery.

One of the mowers used by Mt. Olivet to maintain the 100-plus acres of the cemetery is no longer operational. After 14 mowing seasons, it was decided that the necessary repairs would not be a good investment.

Any person or business willing to help with the cost of a new mower can mail donations to Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 2340 Fulton Ave., Hannibal, Mo., 63401. Donations can be taken to the cemetery office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m. or Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
