Salvation Army of Hannibal Red Kettle Christmas Campaign exceeds goal by more than $17,000
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Salvation Army of Hannibal recently shared the success of its Red Kettle Christmas Campaign, which exceeded the initial fundraising goal of $125,000 by raising a record-breaking total of $142,695.
This year’s campaign was led by chairs Jen and Shad Terrill and Shelby and Kassondra Terrill.
The Red Kettle Christmas Campaign is The Salvation Army’s largest annual fundraising effort, providing critical funding for programs and services that support individuals and families in Hannibal and surrounding northeast Missouri communities.
During this holiday season, the Salvation Army of Hannibal distributed 700 food boxes containing full Christmas meals to families and senior adults across Marion, Ralls, Lewis, Monroe, Shelby and Pike counties. In partnership with Toys for Tots of Northeast Missouri, 1,536 children received Christmas gifts.
