St. Joseph Church Altar Society to hold soup supper on Saturday, carryout on Sunday

PALMYRA, Mo. — St. Joseph Church Altar Society soup day will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Fr. Farischon Hall, 401 S. Lane.
The society will offer carryout only on Sunday, Oct. 6 beginning at 9 a.m. and lasting until the food is gone.
Chili and vegetable soup will be sold by bowl, quart or gallon. Maidrite and hot turkey sandwiches will be available and will be sold by single sandwich or by the quart with buns for four sandwiches. Rounding out the menu will be a bake sale with a free-will donation accepted for all items.
To order in advance, call 217-617-2972 after 2 p.m. on Saturday.
