Tri-State Service Foundation announces new board of directors
PALMYRA, Mo. — The Tri-State Service Foundation, a local organization focused on community service, has announced its new board of directors.
In a press release, Luis Barnes, board of directors president, said, “We are thrilled to have a board of directors in place. We all share the same ideals, we all want to help our community in any way we can, and together there is a lot we can do.”
The new board of directors consists of:
- President Luis Barnes of Palmyra and executive director of Tek Forward, a technology-based nonprofit;
- Vice president Taylor Rebman of Quincy, Ill., a representative for State Farm Insurance;
- Suzanne Ellerbrock of Palmyra, a partner in Golden Bridges, a senior and specialty relocation company;
- Michael Snyder of Quincy, Ill., owner of Snyder Life Insurance; and
- Maygan Huff of Palmyra, a business development representative for ServePro of Quincy/Hannibal.
The Tri-State Service Foundation’s primary purpose is to bring nonprofits and volunteers together, maintain a calendar of local events geared towards community assistance and spread a gospel of community time-gifting versus typical financial donations.
