United State Bank presents Culver-Stockton College with $10,000 donation to support IDEA Center
CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College President Lauren Schellenberger recently accepted a $10,000 donation from United State Bank senior vice president Carolyn Schaller and bank employees during a campus visit.
USB is a major sponsor of the Johnson-Turner IDEA (Innovation, Design and Experiential Activities) Center. Bank representatives said they are honored to fulfill the commitment made to C-SC.
“This gift is a token of our continued appreciation for preparing tomorrow’s leaders to be innovative and invested in the community,” Schaller said in a press release.
“Community partnerships are instrumental in furthering our mission at Culver-Stockton College,” Schellenberger said. “We are thankful to United State Bank for their current support of the IDEA Center, which serves as a focal point for unique experiential learning opportunities for our students of promise.”
The IDEA Center is in the heart of the C-SC campus and serves as a physical space for collaboration, innovation and learning. The center offers classroom space, breakout rooms and an executive conference room while providing an environment for students, faculty and staff to form creative partnerships for the betterment of the Canton community, region and beyond.
