Vintage military rifles to be used at Meador Invitational Rifle Competition Saturday in Palmyra

PALMYRA, Mo. — VFW Post 11041 will be the host of the 11th annual Meador Invitational Rifle Competition at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the David Berti Shooting Range at the Clarence Cannon Dam Gun Range. The event is open to the public.

Competitors use vintage military rifles in this unique rifle competition. Competitors bring their personal rifles and ammunition. This is a team competition. However, people can participate and can join a team at registration.

Shooters planning to attend should RSVP to one of the following people to ensure the correct number of targets are ordered for all attendees:
