Quincy University choirs to present fall concert Sunday at Connie Niemann Center for Music

QUINCY — Quincy University’s music department choirs will present their fall concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday in the Connie Niemann Center for Music at QU’s North Campus, 17th and Seminary Road.

QU’s Concert Choir, Chamber Choir and a cappella group Hawks of Harmony will present a variety of musical selections such as “Festival Sanctus” by John Leavitt, a Swahili version of the Lord’s Prayer, “Baba Yetu” by Christopher Tin and an old jazz standard, “Java Jive” by Kirby Shaw.

QU choirs are under the direction of Jonathon Stewart.
