Ralls County Library welcoming more authors in the new year thanks to recent donation

CENTER, Mo. — The Ralls County Library will welcome visiting authors throughout the new year, thanks to a recent $5,000 donation they received from EDF Renewables.

The $5,000.00 donation from EDF Renewables for the Visiting Author Fund.

The library reported in a recent press release that the donation will provide future author visits to the library for our patrons of Ralls County and surrounding counties. 

“Author visits can enhance literacy skills, improve the reading culture in the community, and promote creativity in students,” the press release stated. “It is also a great way to connect authors with readers, and students with real-world writing careers.”

Their first author to visit will be Kenneth Kruegel on March 14 when a series of events for all ages will take place throughout the day. The library will update as the event draws closer on their website at https://rallscountylibrary.com and their Ralls County Library Facebook page.
