Quincy Public School District staff opening day set for Monday at QJHS
QUINCY — The Quincy Public School District’s opening day for new and returning teachers and staff will begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15 at Quincy Junior High School in Morrison Theater, 100 S. 14th.
Opening Day for teachers will be held in person for the first time since the 2019-20 school year. Teachers and staff will be bused from all school buildings to help reduce traffic and parking at Quincy Junior High School.
Dr. Todd Pettit, the new QPS superintendent, stated the focus for the 2022-23 school year is Achieve YOUR Personal Excellence, which ties into the mission of the Quincy Public School District, educating students and teachers to achieve personal excellence.
