Boland to be honored at this year’s Dancing with Local Stars

QUINCY — Cornerstone will honor Ann Boland as its Humanitarian of the Year at this year’s edition of Dancing with Local Stars.

Boland has worked as a drug and alcohol prevention specialist, bus driver and served on committees for the Quincy School Board and the Quincy Public School Foundation. She is a past Board Member of the American Heart Association, DARE, Quincy Regional Crimestoppers and is the former president and secretary of the Quincy Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association.

She’s been honored by the YWCA as a Woman of Achievement in 2006 and Woman of the year in 2008.

“This is not the first, and I am sure not the last time, Ann will be honored for her services to the Quincy community,” said Drew Quintero, Marketing Director for Cornerstone.

The 12th edition of Dancing with Local Stars is set for Friday, February 4 at The Ambiance. Tickets are on sale now through the Cornerstone: Foundation for Families website or by calling 217-222-8254.

This event serves as Cornerstone’s primary fundraiser. Founded in 1947 as Family Service Agency, Cornerstone has been providing mental health therapy and services to the Quincy area for over 74 years.

We are thrilled to honor Ann and her wonderful contributions to the Quincy community.
