In addition to the additional performance, QCT has two additional events scheduled around the production.
On Monday, Nov. 28, from 6-7 p.m., Quincy Community Theatre will host a Discovery Night event that takes audiences behind the scenes and includes a narrative with artistic director Brandon Thomsen and head of education Brendan Shea about the “Little House” series, Laura Ingalls Wilder and how her stories have been adapted for stage.
Discovery Night also will break into groups, allowing for tours of QCT’s backstage facilities, highlighting the areas in which the cast and production team work to bring shows to life. The event will conclude with a live on‐stage rehearsal, providing attendees an early glimpse of the production
This event is free and open to the public. QCT asks for people to complete a brief RSVP online at 1qct.org or to call the box office at (217) 222‐3209.
A live cast talk back event is scheduled immediately following the Friday, Dec. 16, performance. Theatre‐goers are encouraged to remain after the performance for this candid discussion with production team, cast and crew about the show’s production. This event will be live streamed to the Quincy Community Theatre Facebook page.
“Little House on the Prairie, The Musical” is sponsored by Quincy Medical Group, Quincy Town Center and WGEM. QCT’s 2022 season is sponsored by Gardner Denver.
