Art exhibit at City Hall features works of eighth grade Young Masters Select winners
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council has added an Art @ City Hall exhibit in the customer service area of the Collector’s Office.
The exhibit, which will be on display through the end of January, features photographic reproductions of Young Masters Select winners from eighth grade entries from the Young Masters exhibit. Art @ City Hall is a partnership between the City of Hannibal and the Hannibal Arts Council.
Featured winning images from the eighth grade level are by student artists Maggie Routh and Dylan Terrill (Holy Family, instructor Shelly Lowe); Azariah Tucker (St. John’s Lutheran, instructor Becky Evans); Makenzie Juarez, Layla Fitzpatrick and Madison Evans (Hannibal Middle School, instructors Jennifer Kitzmiller, Hannah Schildknecht and Beth Hinton).
HAC has placed pieces on loan in various departmental offices within City Hall and will continue to rotate pieces through the display area in the Collector’s Office. Fifth grade winners will be featured February-May. Hannibal High School winners were exhibited June-September.
The public is welcome to stop by City Hall, 320 Broadway, to view the exhibit.
