Blues in the District 26th season begins Friday

QUINCY — One of the city’s sounds of summer returns to Washington Park Friday evening as Blues in the District kicks off its 2023 season.

Blessing Health sponsors Blues in The District.

Twice monthly for the next three months, The District’s free concert series will fill the park with cooler-toting patrons and plenty of great music with people bringing their bag chairs and blankets to just relax and enjoy.

Tasty J’s food truck and TCBY will provide food for purchase and Quincy Children’s Museum will have activities for kids.

The Mary Jo Curry Band will perform on Friday. All concerts run From 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

  • JULY 28: Coyote Bill & the Brood
