QUINCY — He’s the biggest name in comedy … literally.

Constantinos Christos Vassilis Economopoulos, better known as Costaki Economopoulos, will perform live at the One Event Venue, 600 Hampshire, in Quincy on the night of Friday, March 8.

Born of Greek heritage, Costaki was raised in Georgia and started his comedy career while attending the University of Georgia. The 54-year-old comedian has written for a variety of television programs including “The Tonight Show,” “The Late Late Show” and “The Best Damn Sports Show Period.”

His humor has been described as “smart, pointed and socially relevant.” Costaki is best known for his weekly segments on the syndicated “Bob & Tom” radio show, which reaches roughly 5 million people in 140 markets, including Quincy on KZZK-FM.

Costaki, a long-suffering Atlanta Falcons fan, has taken his love of football and created a social media presence with All Pro Lines. He engages with fans on social media and hosts a podcast mixing his style of comedy with the week’s latest NFL news.

Muddy River News contributor Ron Kinscherf recently sat down with Costaki and discussed his career, Bob & Tom, and his visit to Quincy.
