Country music star to perform July 10 at Knox County Fair in Knoxville, Ill.; tickets on sale Feb. 1

KNOXVILLE, Ill. — The Knox County Fair Board recently announced the lineup for its fair concert this summer, and country music icon Clint Black will take the stage on Thursday, July 10.

Black is known as one of the most authentic traditionalists in music over the past three decades as a singer, guitarist and songwriter. He has sold more than 20 million records, written and recorded 22 No. 1 singles and received nearly two dozen gold and platinum awards, a Grammy and numerous honors from the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music Awards and the American Music Awards.

Also performing at the fair this year is Diamond Rio, a band that has sold more than 6.8 million albums, accumulated more than 1.05 billion global streams and charted 20 Top 10 singles, 15 Top 5 singles and seven No. 1 singles.

The concert will be held at the Knox County Fairgrounds in Knoxville, about 120 miles northeast of Quincy. Gates will open at 5 p.m., and the show will begin at 7 p.m. Grandstand and track tickets will go on sale on Feb. 1. All seating is general admission. There are no assigned seats.
