Culver-Stockton to present multimedia work of Truman State professor at Mabee Art Gallery on Thursday

CANTON, Mo. — The Art Department at Culver-Stockton College will present the multimedia installation work of Danielle Yakle in the Mabee Gallery on Thursday, March 2. An opening reception is at 6 p.m., with an artist talk at 6:30 p.m.

The gallery will feature a multi-faceted artist’s unique and diverse art installation. Yakle, a professor at Truman State University, uses a vast array of tools and techniques to create life-size people. She welds, cuts, glues and manipulates forms.

The gallery opening is free and open to the public. The exhibition will be available for viewing through March 31. Viewing hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and by appointment.
